An urban bathhouse, located on a two contiguous in fill parcels in Venice, CA, serves as the program and site of the project. The main focus of this design is to implement subtractive form and void space, sectional space, spatial sequence, and light modulation and phenomena.

Boolean Volume is a precedent-based design research project that implements similar spatial concept as the Public Library in Sint Martins Latem by Office KGDVS. It adopts the formal techniques but with different geometric shapes and configurations.
